Growing up I was ALWAYS around my cousins on both sides of my family. As we got older, everyone branched out into their own separate lives, and it became a challenge to maintain that close contact. Over the last couple of years, and gratefully due to the power of social media, no matter our location, we could keep in the loop with each other. It’s been exciting to see how much everyone has evolved and started their own families. This brings me to my cousin, Jenna. I was really excited to hear that she was pregnant with her first child, and then reality hit me of how old we’re getting ;)
When it came time for baby Emma’s baby shower (P.S., it’s a girl!!), I was thrilled that I was able to attend! Of course I brought my camera, and of course we documented the day! It was a beautiful time to be surrounded by my family and meet her friends; like everyone else, I can’t wait to meet her little girl!
Jenna – Thank you so much for inviting me up for your shower! I am so glad we all were able to get the time in, and be a part of this special moment in your life! I look forward to meeting your precious little girl and seeing you all again soon!
