Oy vey…I’m 30!
This was a trip I wanted for mannnnny years, and with each passing year, I held off till my 30th birthday. I’ve had the Vegas experience, mountain adventures and Miami nights; however, with my growing love affair for wine, there was no other place to be than “wine country!”
Like other events in life, this year definitely had its highs and lows however, I got to meet someone who has turned out to be one of my most cherished friends – Rhiannon :)
In some of our getting to know each other conversations…ya know the likes and dislikes, what we like to do for fun, etc…she had asked me what I was planning to do for my “milestone” birthday. Without any hesitation I told her I really wanted to go to wine country however, there were other events going on this past summer so I may have to push it back. A few weeks later, Rhiannon was prepping for an upcoming work trip to California when our conversation popped in her head and she called me to invite me along.
::Insert me jumping like a giddy teenager in full on excitement::
Her next line was, “just think about it and let me know.” There was no way I was sitting on that answer and just like that, I was packing my bags!!
I am INSANELY grateful for this experience and having someone with a genuine heart of gold to share it with!
Thank you sooooooooooo much Rhiannon for the trip of a lifetime and I cannot wait to go back {SOON}!
