This is my busy season and while I love every bit of it, I have to remember to stop and smell the roses

Last Saturday, October 4th, my friends, Alana and her beau, Matt invited Mel (our other friend), Elijah and I up to Matt’s cabin in Jupiter, FL. Saying we had a great time is an understatement!! While this trip was my first time, Elijah showed Mel and I the ropes…literally! Matt had a great turn out with many of their friends and little ones running around. With all the rain we’ve had this year, the river behind the cabin was insanely high but that didn’t stop the fun!
While the kids were jumping from the dock and rope swing, the adults were playing corn hole, grubbing on a smoked hog and enjoying some downtime. Alana & Matt have been trying to get us out there for weeks and I’m so glad we had the opportunity to do so!
