Recently, I had the opportunity of being interviewed by the talented advertising & marketing team, Socialsoutherncreative. One of the questions I was asked was to tell viewers the story behind my "why." My mouth opened, but I couldn't form the words. Truth is, I could spend HOURS explaining my why. It started with a tragedy and turned into something more beautiful...maybe one day I'll share.
A week later, I got a message from one of my favorite, loyal, and most beautiful families, The Liddells. We met up for their son's first birthday shoot and I left with a big ole full heart.
Right there, in that moment, was my "why." Years ago, Breanna found me on a whim, took a chance on me, and I've been SO BLESSED to have been a part of their lives the whole way - engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn, and now their beautiful son's upcoming birthday. By the way...they live over the state line and make the effort to go wherever with me. Thank you both SO MUCH! Truly!!

Thank you to EVERYONE who has taken a chance on me capturing all the events in your lives - including vendors & your referrals! When I see your Facebook photos posted, used as your profile/cover pics, or displayed throughout your homes, it fulfills me in a way I can't describe. I've had a beautiful, yet challenging year. To still have these moments working with you all has kept my head high, spirits in check, and purpose as an individual.
